The International Dance Folkloristisch Bolsward brings a variety of dance and music from virtually all continents.

The festival begins on Wednesday evening, as the dance and music groups present themselves amidst the characteristic Frisian folklore, on behalf of the start of the Bolswarder Harvestfestival, Heamieldagen.
The festival ends with a resounding folk-spectacle on Saturday. Besides tradition and folklore will also contemporary elements of song and dance is not lacking.
