The performances

The "Boalserter Skotsploech" yearly produces some 40 to 50 performances on various occasions in different places.
Every time they have to deal with different audiences and different circumstances. In most cases th e program is adapted to them.
The Skotsploech can fill an entire evening program, but the group is also regularly asked for shorttime performances varying from some minutes, as for instance a performance at a dance festival, to a quarter of an hour, as with for example a show.

There are performances during festive evenings, village fairs, festivals, etc at various locations such as in halls, on ships, in museums, in homes for the elderly, shopping centres etc. etc.

There are also regular trips abroad. The Skotsploech has been a guest in many European countries during its 40-year existence, representing Friesland and Holland. Sometimes we are guests in an exchange program, but we are also often participants in an international dance festival. The trips abroad have always been very successful and as for the future we are happy knowing that we are getting a great deal of attention from abroad.
