The Members

The "Boalserter Skotsploech" is a club of people who love dance and folklore. Each one of them is an amateur, each one does a lot of work for the club and does his utmost to keep the Skotsploech going.
Every Monday night there is a lot of activity in order to practise the repertoire, to learn 'new' dances and to discuss which dances should be performed. It goes without saying that these nights are also for relaxation and fun. Worries can be forgotten for a while.


It' s been quite some time since all dancers came from Bolsward and its direct surroundings. Nowadays the members of the group come from Abbega, Burgwerd, Wommels, but also from more distant places like Jirnsum, Franeker, Wolvega
